Emirates will replace the Boeing 777 with its Airbus A350 on one of three daily Dubai–Mauritius flights from November 1, 2026. The change brings the airline's newest Business Class cabin to the route for the first time.

The A350 takes over rotations EK709 and EK710 between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU) in Mauritius. Emirates' other two daily frequencies on the island route continue with Airbus A380s.

What is the daily schedule?

All times are local, per the airline's published rotation:

  • EK709: departs Dubai 07:55, arrives Mauritius 14:40
  • EK710: departs Mauritius 18:30, arrives Dubai 01:10 the following day

How is the aircraft configured?

The A350 seats 298 passengers across three cabins: 32 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy and 238 in Economy. The deployment marks the first appearance of Emirates' newest Business Class product on the Mauritius route, alongside updated onboard technology.

Business Class uses a 1-2-1 layout, giving every passenger direct aisle access. Fully flat seats carry 20-inch 4K screens, a personal mini-bar, wireless charging and Bulgari amenity kits. A self-service snack area sits at the rear of the cabin.

Premium Economy uses a 2-3-2 layout with 19.5-inch-wide seats, footrests, six-way adjustable headrests and 13.3-inch screens. Premium Economy passengers receive priority boarding, a dedicated check-in area in Dubai and a baggage allowance of up to 35 kilograms.

Economy seats have adjustable leather headrests and 13.3-inch 4K touchscreens with Bluetooth connectivity.

What does this change for Mauritius traffic?

All three of Emirates' daily Mauritius flights now offer Premium Economy, whichever aircraft operates them. In Dubai, connecting passengers reach more than 70 destinations across Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Oomar Ramtoola, Emirates' Manager for the Indian Ocean Islands, framed the A350 deployment as another step in the carrier's investment in Mauritius. He said the aircraft, paired with the two daily A380 flights, demonstrates the island's importance within the Emirates network.

The November 1, 2026 rotation change now puts the A350's cabin product, rather than sheer A380 capacity, at the front of Emirates' premium offer on the route.
