IATA has published its Air Cargo Market Analysis for April 2026, extending the trade association's monthly series tracking demand, capacity and load factors across the global freight network.

The report is part of IATA's standing monthly dataset, which carriers, lessors and forwarders use as a benchmark for freight rate direction, capacity deployment and yield trends. Each edition compares international and domestic cargo tonne-kilometres year-on-year, alongside available capacity and aircraft utilisation indicators.

Flightdeck Report will assess the April figures against the prior months' data and against reported delivery records for dedicated freighters and converted widebodies once the full dataset is available through IATA's publication channels.
